سألتها طفلتها: “ولكن يا أمي لماذا تختفي الشمس ويظهر القمر، ولا نرى الاثنين معا؟!”

الأم: “حبيبتي أريد أن أشرح لكِ شيئا، إن الشمس تقوم بواجبها الذي أمرها الله سبحانه وتعالى به وخلقه لأجله، ولولا وجود الشمس بحياتنا لتحول كوكب الأرض لقطعة من الجليد الضخمة، ولما وجدت عليه حياة، ليس للبشر فحسب وإنما لسائر المخلوقات الحية الأخرى كالحيوانات والطيور والنباتات”.

الأم: “حبيبتي أريدكِ أن تتعلمي شيئا آخر، الصداقة لا تعني أن نغير ما عليه أصدقائنا ونجبرهم على التخلي عن صفاتهم، فالصداقة أسمى من ذلك، الصداقة هي أن يحب كل منا الآخر بصفاته أياً كانت، نحبه كما هو على الرغم من كل ما هو عليه؛ وأخيرا الشمس تقوم بواجبها الذي أمرها الله سبحانه وتعالى به، وتفعل ذلك لأجلنا فعلينا أن نشكرها لا أن ننتقدها ونحب بها جزءاً ونكره الآخر”.

كان الفأر بخلافه يتمتع بالوفاء والإخلاص ومحبة جميع المخلوقات، صادقه الفأر وعامله بصفاته الحسنة التي يتمتع بها، كان لا يأكل شيئا إلا وأحضر نصفه للضفدع صديقه.

وعندما لاقى الفأر حتفه طفت جثته فوق سطح المياه، رآها الصقر من السماء فحط عليها واختطفها بين مخالبه، وترى من كان متعلق بها؟!

لقد كان الضفدع الماكر فريسة سهلة تحت أنياب الصقر، ونهايته المأساوية إنما كانت من فعل أيديه وجني ثمار أعماله السيئة الشريرة.
