A story of great wisdom from my grandfather
حكمــــــــــــــــة جدي العظيمة للغاية
There were two young children, the thirteen-year-old girl, and her eight-year-old brother, and every day they came back from school with a sullen face because of the harassment and bullying they face daily.
كان يوجد طفلان ، الفتاة البالغة من العمر ثلاثة عشر عامًا ، وشقيقها البالغ من العمر ثماني من السنوات ، وكانوا يعودون كل يوم من المدرسة بوجه متجهم للغاية بسبب المضايقات والتنمر التي يواجهونها في كل يوم.
The two children did not dare to speak of this matter to their parents, but they always told their grandfather of their will and
desire to leave school for good; And grandfather every day listened to them and listened well, but he was worried about their great dislike of school and study.
لم يستطع الطفلان التجرؤ على التحدث عن هذا الأمر لوالديهما ، لكنهما كانا يخبران جدهما دائمًا بإرادتهما عن
الرغبة في ترك المدرسة وللأبد ؛ وكان الجد يستمع إليهم كل يوم ويستمع بطريقة جيدة ، لكنه كان في حالة قلق بشأن كرههم الشديد للمدرسة والدراسة.

الفتاة: جدي لن أذهب إلى هذه المدرسة مرة أخرى ، لقد كرهت كل شيء بسبب المضايقات التي نتعرض لها في كل يوم يا جدي ، وما فائدة ذلك في المقام الأول ؟!
وتابع شقيقها قائلًا: “جدي لم يعد يتحمل كل ما يصادفه في هذه المدرسة البغيضة”.
Grandfather: “Do you leave school and leave your friends with it?!”
الجد: هل تترك المدرسة وتترك أصدقاءك معها ؟!
The two children in one voice: “We don’t have any friends with her!”
الطفلان بصوت واحد: “ليس لنا أي أصدقاء معها”!
Grandfather: “Do you not enjoy your homework, and excel in how to solve it?!”
الجد: ألا تستمتع بواجبك وتتفوق في حله ؟!
The two children: “We don’t care about anything except getting rid of it completely.”
الطفلان: “لا نهتم بشيء سوى التخلص منها وبشكل نهائي”.
And the grandfather listens to them listening as usual, but this time he decided to give them great wisdom, which will make them not complain again, and face all the challenges of life, no matter how generous they are; The grandfather asked his two grandsons to go with him to the kitchen, and he brought three things: an egg, a carrot, and a handful of coffee beans!
والجد كان يستمع إليهم كالمعتاد ، ولكن هذه المرة قرر أن يمنحهم حكمة عظيمة تجعلهم لا يتذمرون مرة أخرى ، ويواجهون كل تحديات الحياة مهما كانت سخاء ؛ طلب الجد من حفيديه الذهاب معه إلى المطبخ ، وأحضر معه ثلاثة أشياء: بيضة ، وجزرة ، وحفنة من حبوب البن!
He brought three medium-sized cooking pots, put water in them and left it on the stove fire until it boiled, and then put the egg, carrot and the right coffee beans inside; The two children watch carefully what the grandfather, who promised to solve their dilemma with school and study, is doing.
أحضر ثلاثة أواني للطهي متوسطة الحجم ، ووضع الماء فيها وتركه على نار الموقد حتى يغلي ، ثم وضع البيض والجزر وحبوب البن بالداخل ؛ يراقب الطفلان بعناية ما يفعله الجد ، الذي وعد بحل معضلتهما مع المدرسة والدراسة.
Twenty minutes had passed since this situation, and then the grandfather put out the fire, and took out the egg, carrot and coffee, and asked the two children what they saw in front of their eyes, but they did not respond well, which was just an egg, carrot and hot coffee!
مرت عشرون دقيقة على هذا الموقف ، ثم أخمد الجد النار ، وأخرج البيضة والجزر والقهوة ، وسأل الطفلين عما رأوه أمام أعينهم ، لكنهم لم يستجيبوا جيدًا ، وهو ما كان. مجرد بيضة وجزر وقهوة ساخنة!
But the grandfather asked them to look closely until they find what he means exactly, and the girl said: “Grandfather, they have changed!”
لكن الجد طلب منهم أن ينظروا عن كثب حتى يكتشفوا ما يعنيه بالضبط ، فقالت الفتاة: “جدي ، لقد تغيروا!”
The grandfather said: “The three shared one thing, which was boiling water. The egg became solid, unlike the carrot, which became very soft. As for the coffee, it took advantage of the emergency circumstance to its advantage, and it became a delicious liquid coffee.”
قال الجد: الثلاثة يشتركون في شيء واحد تعرضوا جميعا له، ألا وهو الماء المغلي. أصبحت البيضة صلبة ، على عكس الجزرة التي أصبحت طرية جدًا. أما بالنسبة للقهوة ، فقد استفادت من حالة الطوارئ لصالحها ، وأصبحت قهوة سائلة لذيذة”.
The two children did not understand what the grandfather meant, so he had to understand them more. He said: “My little one, the egg, the carrot and the coffee bean all participated in one difficult circumstance, namely exposure to boiling water. And weakness, and as for the coffee beans, they were able to turn the harsh circumstance to their advantage, did they understand the lesson and the great wisdom?!”
ولكن لم يفهم الطفلان ما قصده جدهما ، فكان عليه أن يفهمهما أكثر. قال: “طفلي الصغيران البيضة والجزر وحبوب القهوة جميعهم اشتركوا في ظرف صعب واحد وهو التعرض ومواجهة الماء المغلي. والضعف ، وأما حبوب البن ، فقد استطاعوا تحويل الظروف القاسية لمصلحتهم ، فهل فهمتما الدرس من كل هذا والحكمة العظيمة ؟!”
The two children said: “Yes, grandfather, we understood the great wisdom,” and they spent the whole day doing their homework, and then they studied extraordinarily hard and diligently, and each of them decided to be the egg that endured the harsh conditions and came out of it stronger than the first.
قال الطفلان: “نعم يا جدي لقد فهمنا الحكمة العظيمة” ، وقضيا اليوم كله في أداء واجباتهما ، ثم درسا بشكل غير عادي بجد واجتهاد ، وقرر كل منهما أن يكون البيضة التي تحتمل الظروف القاسية. وخرجوا منه أقوى من الأول.
At school the next day, the child was subjected to the same repeated bullying daily. She did not fear his owner, but stood in front of him and repelled him from his heinous actions. The same thing she did, her brother did in his school. He confronted the child who was always bullying him, and all the students were on his side. When the bullying child realized the situation, he apologized to the child until he did not find Himself in the face of all students, and he will certainly not be able to them.
وبالمدرسة في اليوم التالي ، تعرضت الطفلة من جديد لنفس التنمر المتكرر يوميًا. لم تخف صاحبه ، بل وقفت أمامه وصدته من أفعاله الشائنة. نفس الشيء الذي فعلته ، فعله شقيقها في مدرسته. واجه الطفل الذي كان يتنمر عليه دائمًا ، وكان جميع الطلاب إلى جانبه. عندما أدرك الطفل المتنمر الموقف اعتذر للطفل حتى لم يجد نفسه في وجه جميع الطلاب ، وبالتأكيد لن يكون قادرًا على مواجهتهم جميعا.
They loved school and worked hard at it, and in every situation in life they remembered the wisdom of the grandfather, and insisted that they be eggs at least, if they could not be like the coffee beans that took advantage of the situation to their advantage.
لقد أحبوا المدرسة وعملوا بجد فيها ، وفي كل موقف في الحياة تذكروا حكمة جدهم ، وأصروا على أن يكونوا بيض على الأقل ، إذا لم يكونوا مثل حبوب البن التي تستغل جميع الموقف لصالحهم .
على كل إنسان منا أن يعلم أبنائه صغارا أو كبارا بطريقته الخاصة أن يكونوا دوما أقوياء، وألا يكونوا ضعفاء أمام أي من كان؛ فالمؤمن القوي عند الله سبحانه وتعالى خير وأحب وأفضل من المؤمن الضعيف.
Each of us should teach his children, young or old, in his own way, to always be strong, and not to be weak in front of anyone; A strong believer with God Almighty is better and more beloved and better than a weak believer.
