ولازلنا نستكمل قصة رفيقة الجن من قصص رعب بالإنجليزي مترجمة للعربية…

قصة بأحداث حقيقية مليئة بالرعب والغموض، مليئة بأحداث تشيب لها الولدان، قصة تعج بالعبر الكثيرة على الرغم من كل الآلام التي بين سطورها، إلا إننا نتعلم منها ألا نتهاون في أشياء تبدى لنا، وألا نتهاون في معاملة أناس لا يريدون بنا إلا الشر، وأن نحسن التصرف مع أولئك الذين على الدوام يمكرون بنا.

        قصــة رفيقــة الجن ج19

Until the day came when a friend of my mother’s visited us and at the same time she is my aunt’s neighbor. She told us that my husband would divorce me in my absence and that he would send me the divorce papers to my house!

حتى جاء اليوم الذي زارتنا فيه صديقة لوالدتي وفي نفس الوقت تكون جارة لخالتي، أخبرتنا بأن زوجي سيطلقني غيابي وأنه سيبعث لي ورقة الطلاق على منزلي هذا!

I could not control myself despite the fact that I tried a lot not to break my old mother’s heart. All my feelings collapsed and I began to cry bitterly, which I could not stop. I found my mother’s friend holding me in her arms and patting me on my back and telling me: “I don’t want you to make me sad. So I bear witness to God Almighty that you are the winner in all of this, even if the only purpose of all of this is to keep you away from your aunt.

Do you not know that she is fond of magic, and that she is not satisfied with your marriage to her son from the first moment?!

لم أستطع أن أتمالك نفسي على الرغم من كوني حاولت كثيرا حتى لا أكسر قلب والدتي الكبيرة في السن، انهارت كل جوارحي وشرعت في بكاء مرير عجزت عن التوقف عنه، وجدت صديقة والدتي تضمني في حضنها وتربت على ظهري وتقول لي: “لا أريدك أن تحزني، فأشهد الله تعالى أنكِ أنت الرابحة في كل ذلك وإن كانت الغاية الوحيدة من كل ذلك ابتعادكِ عن خالتكِ، ألا تدرين أنها مولعة بأعمال السحر، وأنها غير راضية عن زواجك من ابنها من الوهلة الأولى؟!”.

I didn’t know what to say to her at the time, I found my tongue tied and I only repeated the word: “Magic works?! My aunt?!”

The lady answered me: “Don’t you know that your aunt does magic?”

I replied, “No, I don’t know anything about her that is humiliating.”

لم أدري ماذا أقول لها حينها، وجدت لساني قد انعقد ولم أكرر إلا كلمة: “أعمال سحرية؟! خالتي؟!”

أجابتني السيدة: “ألا تدري أن خالتكِ تفعل أعمال سحرية؟!”

أجبتها: “لا، لا أدري عليها شيئا مذل هذا”.

She answered me in astonishment: “All the people of our region know this like the sun that appears in the sky in the middle of the summer day. Al-Ayyam, while she was sitting with me, told me that she only wanted to divorce you from her son, and that she would do the impossible to achieve that, and when I asked her about the reason, she told me that she was ready to marry him to any girl he points to because she hates you and your mother.

فأجابتني مندهشة: “إن كل أهالي المنطقة لدينا يعلمون ذلك مثل الشمس التي تظهر في السماء في منتصف نهار الصيف، الجميع يشهد لها بذلك، خالتكِ تذهب لرجل له في الأعمال وكانت تتردد عليه كثيرا بعد زواجكِ من ابنها؛ أنا واحدة أشهد الله أنها في يوم من الأيام بينما كانت تجلس معي أخبرتني بأنها لا تريد إلا أن تطلقكِ من ابنها وأنها ستفعل المستحيل لتحقق ذلك، وعندما سألتها عن السبب أخبرتني بأنها على استعداد أن تزوجه بأي فتاة يشير عليها لأنها تكرهكِ وتكره والدتكِ”.

She had grabbed me by the hand and moved away from my mother to tell me all that and ease my pain. I collected all the clues and found that every letter this lady uttered was a truth that I could never deny, and how could I not believe her when my aunt was the reason for renting the haunted house, and she is the reason for Every problem and disagreement that happened between me and my husband?!

كانت قد أمسكت بي من يدي وابتعدت عن والدتي لتخبرني بكل ذلك وتخفف من آلامي، استجمعت كامل الخيوط ووجدت أن كل حرف تفوهت به هذه السيدة حقيقة لا يمكنني أن أنكرها مطلقا، وكيف لا أصدقها وقد كانت خالتي هي السبب في استئجار المنزل المسكون، وهي السبب في كل مشكلة وخلاف حدث بيني وبين زوجي؟!
