القصـــــــــــــة:
One very hot day, there was a little ant looking for some water to quench his intense thirst.
After walking for a while under the hot sun, she was able to reach a water source. She wanted to get one drop of water, but instead she suddenly slipped and fell into the water!
بيوم من الأيام شديد الحرارة، كانت هناك نملة صغيرة تبحث عن بعض الماء لتروي عطشها الشديد.
وبعد السير لقليل من الوقت تحت أشعة الشمس الحارة استطاعت الوصول لمنبع مياه، لقد أرادت الحصول على قطرة واحدة من المياه ولكنها بدلا من ذلك انزلقت فجأة فسقطت في المياه!
This poor little ant would have drowned, if a white dove had not seen it atop a tree near it. This kind-hearted dove noticed that the little ant was in dire trouble. It was on the verge of losing its entire life.
The dove quickly picked up a leaf from the tree on which it was standing, and threw it into the water. It was very careful that the thrown leaf settle near the ant, which was fighting with all its might for survival.
كان من الممكن أن تغرق هذه النملة الصغيرة المسكينة، إذا لم ترها حمامة بيضاء فوق شجرة قريبة منها، ولاحظت هذه الحمامة طيبة القلب أن النملة الصغيرة في مأزق شديد، لقد كانت على المحك لفقدها لحياتها كاملة.
وعلى وجه السرعة التقطت الحمامة ورقة من الشجرة التي تقف عليها، وألقتها بالمياه وكانت حريصة كل الحرص أن تستقر الورقة الملقاة بالقرب من النملة التي تقاتل بكل طاقتها من أجل النجاة.
Indeed, the ant climbed onto the paper, and the dove did not leave it. Rather, it was able to pick up the paper with the little ant and bring it to dry land devoid of any water.
وبالفعل تسلقت النملة على الورقة، ولم تتركها الحمامة، بل إنها تمكنت من التقاط الورقة بالنملة الصغيرة ووصلت بها إلى أرض جافة خالية من أي مياه.
The dove helped the little ant until she was able to catch her breath and completely get rid of the water that almost cost her her life. Later, there was a fisherman in the forest, throwing his nets all over the forest after placing wheat grains under the net. His evil plan was noticed by the ant, which as soon as it saw him approaching the dove that saved its life, bit him in the foot with such force that he lost his mind and made him feel pain, so he screamed loudly. The dove became aware of his presence and the danger he posed to her life, so she ran away.
وساعدت الحمامة النملة الصغيرة حتى استطاعت التقاط أنفاسها وتخلصت تماما من المياه التي كادت تفقدها حياتها؛ وفي وقت لاحق، كان بالغابة صياد يرمى شباكه بكل أنحاء الغابة بعد وضعه حبوب القمح أسفل الشباك، لاحظت خطته الشريرة النملة التي ما إن رأته يقترب من الحمامة التي أنقذت حياتها عضته في قدمه بقوة شديدة أفقدته صوابه وجعلته يشعر بالألم فصرخ صرخة مدوية، فانتبهت الحمامة لوجوده والخطر الذي يشكله على حياتها فلاذت بالفرار هربا.
